A review! COOPID Winter Webinar Series at Munster Technological University, Ireland

Dark and rainy winter nights didn’t stand in the way of bioeconomy knowledge exchange in the South-West of Ireland for our COOPID partners, the Circular Bioeconomy Research Group at Munster Technological University. Their COOPID Winter Webinar series brought Irish COOPID ambassadors, producers, researchers, students, policy-makers, biomass processors, cooperative managers, environmentalists, and the bioeconomy-curious together from the comfort of their homes and offices. Presenters from a wide range of backgrounds brought their bioeconomy experiences to life for the audiences through presentations, videos, live demonstrations and interactive panel discussions.

Each of the six webinars was themed around one of the European bioeconomy business models showcased through the COOPID project, including CAVIRO (Italy), Grand Est Bioeconomy Ecosystem (France), Südosteirische Pelletierungsgenossenschaft (Austria), PINDOS (Greece), Valio (Finland) and ZP Victor Asenov (Bulgaria). COOPID ambassadors and project participants discussed what they felt was relevant for Irish producers and the bioeconomy transition in Ireland from the business model showcases they had been involved in. If you missed out and are interested to know more, you can catch up with the webinars on the Circular Bioeconomy Research Group YouTube channel.
